Transparency Disclosure

As its name indicates, the Applied Bachelor of Science in Business Management program is a 90-credit program, not a traditional 120-credit program. Some employers and graduate programs may not accept applicants or candidates with an undergraduate degree of fewer than 120 credits. Students completing UMFK’s 90-credit program have a clear pathway to continue into a UMFK master’s program, provided they meet all graduate admission requirements. Students are encouraged to speak with an academic advisor at the University of Maine at Fort Kent about this 90-credit program before enrolling. In the event that students enrolled in the Applied Bachelor of Science in Business Management program decide to pursue the university’s Bachelor of Science in Business Management Online Degree Completion program instead, students will be able to complete the change of major process, and the university will provide a no-loss-of-credit pathway from the 90-credit to the 120-credit version of the program. Alternatively, students may transfer into a different 120-credit degree program for which they qualify academically.
